Okay, so, very last minute I decided to up and redesign my cover for Red String volume two. Originally, I had this image. However, after I finished my cover for volume three, I saw a big problem. Two stuck out like sore thumb because it did not feature a couple from the story. Every other cover design features a couple from the series and is much more dynamic.
What I like about this cover is that it's full of energy like volume one. It's not just two characters sitting complacently. The image from the first cover design will still show up smaller on the back cover, but this was a much stronger piece overall, I think.
You can actually start preordering your books at Amazon.com or Things From Another World. TFAW will have the books much sooner than Amazon because they are right down the street from Dark Horse in Oregon (just a helpful tip). Also, you'll see the old cover design on online stores until it gets updated with the new piece.

But yes, I agree, it has a lot more life to it than the original. It was a good decision, I think. Same for the idea on featuring a "couple" for each volume.
(I presume then that the couple featured in Volume 3 will probably be Karen and Yosue. Or her and Jun...although Yosue has more screentime. Bah!)
