The Farmer’s Clever Daughter is one of my favorite lesser known tales by the Brother’s Grimm and the story that inspired me to start the Erstwhile series. This story introduces some very rare aspects of fairy tales; a clever, self-sufficient female lead, no magical elements at all to help or hinder her, and very little violence.

It was your first guest I want to see more unknown fairy tales like "The Girl Without Hands" or "The Singing. Soaring Lark" also known as "The Lady and the Lion" or "Mother Holle" or "Little Brother and Little Sister" or "Snow White & Rose Red".

I would love if you did the "The 12 Dancing Princess" but since I read many retelling I don't if that counts as obscure enough for Ertswhile

You mean will I personally draw more fairy tale comics for Erstwhile? Or more of this particular tale? If the former, yes, if the latter, most likely not.

I've never heard this brother's grimm story before, but I liked it a lot. I liked how smart the girl was in this story, especially the ending. It was a really sweet ending.
