Every once in a while I like to revisit a piece of art I did and give it another shot. The original one from SEpt.2006 was called "Look Up" and is currently still in my Old Stuff section of the gallery. I have to admit, it was a lot of fun to go back and draw these characters again.

With this version, I took the time to reference the scene I was spoofing so that I could add a proper background and the clothes the characters were wearing from the scene. If you've seen the Serenity movie, then you will definitely get the scene. If you haven't seen the Firefly series or the movie, I highly recommend it!

Oh! That's such a good series! It's too bad it got canceled after only, what? 14 episode? And they had 7 seasons worth of stuff written out. ;;

Anyways, very shiny work. Like like the look on Rivers face there. She's my favourite character. <3

Omg I lovvve Firefly so much. ;A; So angry when it got canceled!

My favorite pairing in the series is Malcom and Anora (I know I butchered their names. I'm sorry. ;A;) But these two are a close second for sure!

It love it! Great job. The improvements are pretty amazing between the two as well. <3 Sending all my envy in your direction. ;D
