UPDATE #1: I was able to meet with Nathan Fillion at Dragon*Con 2008 this year. I gave him a shiny print of this piece and he loved it! He laughed out loud and even pointed to the doctor in panel two, remarking on how funny the expression was. I am still all giddy about that
