This is the latest piece in that series I've been doing for someone. It's a what if the Beast's curse affected Belle as well. She's a little annoyed at the turn out here. Poor beast looks like he's at a loss at what to do.

And I have a plot reason why this happened.
This is what happens if Belle admits her love for Beast just AFTER the last petal falls, as the magic is both becoming permanent AND trying to undo itself from Belle's involvment. This leaves them as we see them.
